Markita del Carpio Landry, PhD, is an associate professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of California, Berkeley; faculty scientist of molecular biophysics and integrated bioimaging at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; associate professor at the Hellen Wills Neuroscience Institute; investigator at Chan-Zuckerberg Biohub; and co-founder of Biophilia Genetics. She received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
