Marie-Françoise Chesselet, MD, PhD

Marie-Françoise Chesselet is a professor emeritus at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was the Charles H. Markham Professor of Neurology, distinguished professor in the departments of neurology and neurobiology, and interim chair of the department of neurology at UCLA. She chaired the department of neurobiology from 2002 to 2013 and was the director of the Integrative Center for Neural Repair, which includes the Center for the Study of Parkinson's Disease she created in 1998. Prior, she held research positions in France and faculty positions at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania before joining UCLA. She received her MD and PhD from the University of Paris, VI.
