Henry Hallock, PhD
Henry Hallock is a postdoctoral research associate at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development on the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus. His research interests are in understanding the links between genes, neural circuits, and cognition (learning, memory, and decision making) in neuropsychiatric diseases such as post-traumatic stress disorder and schizophrenia. The ultimate goal of Hallock’s research is to elucidate the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive deficits in neuropsychiatric illness, and rescue those deficits through the discovery of novel behavioral and neurobiological therapeutics. Hallock completed his PhD in behavioral neuroscience in the department of brain and psychological sciences at the University of Delaware in the laboratory of Amy Griffin in 2015.
