Eric Schnell, MD, PhD

Eric Schnell is a clinician/scientist in the Virginia Portland Health Care System and an assistant professor of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. Schnell's lab studies hippocampal adult neurogenesis, which involves the addition of new neurons to brain through the proliferation of neural stem cells in the adult hippocampus.
