Beau Alward, PhD
Beau A. Alward received his BS from the University of California, Davis, and his PhD from Johns Hopkins University in psychological and brain sciences in the laboratory of Gregory Ball. His research focuses on how the brain integrates across neural circuits to give rise to behavior and how neuromodulatory factors such as hormones regulate these circuits at multiple levels. He just finished a short postdoc at the University of Maryland, College Park in Ball’s lab, and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University in the department of biology in Russell Fernald’s lab.
