Amanda Sierra, PhD
Amanda Sierra is a Ikerbasque Research Professor and group leader at the Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience. Sierra earned her BS in biology and her PhD in neurosciences at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Her research focuses on the study of microglial cells at the interplay between phagocytosis and inflammation in the diseased brain.
