What is Neuronline?
Neuronline is a member-focused resource site for learning and discussion, where neuroscientists at all career stages can share great science, forge collaborations, and keep in touch using the Neuronline Community. Neuronline's webinars, articles, videos, and other media content are based on SfN programming developed by SfN committees and member contributions.
Who has access to Neuronline?
SfN members have unlimited access to Neuronline resources, webinars and the Neuronline Community. Nonmembers have limited access to five resources a month and can register for webinars for $15 per event. Select parts of the Neuronline Community are open to the public. In addition, non-SfN members who have participated in specific SfN-supported programs like the Neuroscience Scholars Program and the Trainee Professional Development Awards are also able to participate in dedicated communities.

Neuronline is the home of SfN’s webinars, articles, and videos, ranging from the latest scientific research to professional development and career advice, and many more resources. Examples include:
Can I write for Neuronline?
Yes! Neuronline welcomes SfN members to pitch advice-driven article ideas around the following themes: Diversity, Professional Development, Career Paths, Scientific Research, Training, Advocacy, and Outreach. If your pitch is accepted, a member of the editorial staff will work with you to develop your idea and help you share your story in a clear and compelling way. If you’re new to Neuronline and don’t know where to begin, here are some fresh resources on Neuronline to start your exploration. Sign up to get monthly emails of the latest career advice
- Register for upcoming webinars about hiring practices, the neuromechanics of skilled and impaired movements, and synaptic plasticity and mouse family life. All webinars are free for members and $15 for nonmembers to attend.
- Neuronline Community Leader Hugo Sánchez Castillo, PhD, shares his journey of finding a postdoctoral position and the importance of aligning personal interests with the chosen institution.
