Weixin Zhong

Weixin Zhong is a PhD candidate at the National Institute of Biological Sciences in Beijing and is doing her research in Minmin Luo’s lab. She is involved in investigating the role of DRN serotonin neurons in reward-related behavior. She did optogenetic manipulation of DRN serotonin neurons and used fiber photometry to monitor the activity of DRN serotonin neurons in freely behaving mice. Zhong completed her undergraduate training in bioscience at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
