Stephen Grossberg, PhD

Stephen Grossberg is the Wang Professor of cognitive and neural systems and a Professor Emeritus of mathematics and statistics, psychological and brain sciences, and biomedical engineering at Boston University. Grossberg received a PhD in mathematics from Rockefeller University. He wrote the book Conscious Mind, Resonant Brain: How Each Brain Makes a Mind to provide a self-contained and non-technical survey in a conversational style of neural models that provide explanations of the most important brain processes whereby students learn about the world.
