Sheeva Azma, MS

Sheeva Azma is founder of Fancy Comma, LLC, a science writing company dedicated to simplifying complex science in an easy-to-understand way. Azma earned her BS in brain and cognitive sciences from MIT, and her MS in neuroscience from Georgetown. She has also worked as a neuroimaging research assistant at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. She spent 10 years doing academic neuroscience research before becoming a freelance science writer in 2013. Her Master’s work focused on brain development as well as the effects of stress and trauma on the brain.
