Sheena Saxena

Sheena Saxena is a second-year PhD student in the Neuroscience Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and conducts her dissertation research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her current research focuses on human neuroimaging, working memory, and real-time fMRI neurofeedback, with an interest in understanding brain function and connectivity and translating neuroimaging approaches to clinical populations. Before beginning her doctoral training, Saxena conducted biomedical and agricultural research during her master's degree and gained several years of laboratory experience with animals before transitioning to neuroimaging research in clinical populations.
