Nanna MacAulay, PhD

Nanna MacAulay is an associate professor of molecular biomedicine at University of Copenhagen. She did her graduate training at McGill University, Canada and her post-graduate training at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms of brain water transport and homeostasis, and she has been one of the pioneers in establishing cotransport of water as a novel mechanism of transmembrane water translocation in a manner independent of osmotic forces.
