Melody Schwenk
Melody Schwenk, a doctoral student at Gallaudet University, is deeply interested in the intersection of language, cognition, and education. She has earned degrees from several prestigious institutions, including Georgetown University and Columbia University, reflecting her dedication to education, neuroscience, and psychology. In addition to her studies, Schwenk has gained practical experience through various roles at Gallaudet, such as a graduate research assistant in the Action & Brain Lab and an undergraduate teaching assistant for the psychology department. She also worked as a teacher of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing for the New York City Department of Education as well as a behavior technician working with children aged two to 18.
