Marcus Munafò, PhD

Marcus Munafò is Professor of Biological Psychology and MRC Investigator in the Medical Research Council Integrative Epidemiology Unit at the University of Bristol. He leads a programme of research on the causal pathways between health behaviours and physical and mental health, and is co-director of the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group. He is also Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Research Culture, and has a long standing interest in the factors that contribute to the robustness of research findings. In 2019, he co-founded the UK Reproducibility Network (www.ukrn.org).
