Karen Malacon
Karen Malacon (she/her) is pursuing an MD and PhD in neuroscience at Stanford School of Medicine investigating how early life influenza infection impacts brain function in Michelle Monje’s lab. She graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in neurobiology and a minor in global health and health policy. At Harvard, she joined Staci Bilbo’s lab and studied the neuroimmune effects of prenatal exposure to air pollution.
