Juan Pablo Alperin, PhD

Juan Pablo Alperin is an Associate Professor at the School of Publishing at Simon Fraser University, where is also co-directs the Scholarly Communications Lab and is the co-scientific director of the Public Knowledge Project. His work addresses a wide range of questions on how knowledge is produced, disseminated, and used. In recent years, his research has paid special attention to equity in open science, public science communication, and academic career incentives.
