Chandler Carr is a master’s student at the University of Alberta. They received their BA at Ohio Wesleyan University, double majoring in biology and neuroscience. They are currently completing their master's in comparative cognition and behaviour, studying the neuroendocrinological causes of individuality in a Cichlid fish by categorizing differences between individuals in their propensity to display subordinate behaviour and correlating these differences with hormones like Cortisol and neuromodulators like Cholecystokinin. Carr graduated magna cum laude and on the dean's List, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and received two institutional awards for excellence in research.
