Jasmine Pathan (@jasmino_acid; she/her) completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle. Pathan’s doctoral research at the City University of New York, Graduate Center focuses on improving motor function after a spinal cord injury by modulating neuronal electrical activity to prevent damage by immune cells to still-viable neurons.

For three days, Scholars and Alumni of SfN’s Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP), led by co-directors Gina Poe and Eduardo Rosa-Molinar, discussed identity and leadership, changing culture, grant writing, and more, while creating additional opportunities for professional development, networking, and community building.
