Daisy Gallardo is a Mexican/Salvadoran third-year PhD candidate in Oswald Steward’s lab at the University of California, Irvine. She is researching the progression of neurodegeneration in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s Disease. Specifically, she is investigating neuroprotective mechanisms that may reduce or delay neurodegeneration.

Gary Lynch is a professor at the University of California at Irvine. Lynch’s work played a key role in forming the modern theory of how synapses encode memory.

Eric Turner is a principal investigator at the Center for Integrative Brain Research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute and a professor of psychiatry at the University of Washington, Seattle.
