Maya Sapiurka, PhD, is a scientific and technical writer at the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). She received her PhD in neuroscience from UCSD in 2016, where she worked with Robert E. Clark and Larry Squire. Sapiurkaalso worked as a scientific training associate and training manager at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) from 2016-2022 before serving as the associate director for administration at Georgetown University's Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience. Prior to joining USP in April 2025, she worked as a science writer and analyst at Rose Li and Associates.
