Mariya V. Cherkasova is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia. Cherkasova obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from McGill University.

Keith Elmslie is professor and chair of the department of pharmacology at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine of A.T. Still University of Health Sciences.

After completing his PhD in the Meucci Lab at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia (2017), Bradley Nash decided to pursue his passion for scientific communication and worked as freelance writer/consultant for approximately one year. During this time, he also became involved with various educational activities close to his doctoral studies on opioids and HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders.

Adriana Bankston is a principal legislative analyst in the University of California Office of Federal Governmental Relations, where she advocates for UC with Congress, the administration, and federal agencies. She earned her PhD in biochemistry, cell and developmental biology from Emory University. She additionally serves as vice president of the nonprofit Future of Research, and as director of communications and outreach with the Journal of Science Policy and Governance. Previously Bankston was a policy and advocacy fellow at SfN.
